How we started?
We started with creating sewing activities and providing help for the newcomers. The main idea of Global
is to create and put in place a market for African products. Global is an African woman organzation, that helps African women
designers in Canada to persue a Fashion career. The idea came to us when we realized that there are many educated African
womens in Canada that are currently strungeling in finding a job they can relate to. We wanted to provide them with something
interesting and fun to contribute to.

Who we are and how we started?
We are a non profit oganization, that was created in 2002 by Therese Ndeko Baninga. In 2003 We became leggally
registered as a nonprofit organization.
